I have been tutoring math online for the last 5 years for Brian McLogan, Leaders United for Change, and with private students. I Co-Founded Making Waves, and I am ecstatic to work with all of you!

Hi! My name is Cooper and I am a Junior at Harvard-Westlake. I have been swimming competitively for ten years now. I am a two time qualifier for the AIME and have taken AMCs since 6th grade and I am a Co-Founder of Making Waves. I have a passion for math that I hope to spread to younger students; I can’t wait to interact with you all!

​Hello! My name is Audrey and I am a Junior at Harvard-Westlake. I have been doing all sorts of art for most of my life. I have had my fair share of math competitions since I was younger; however, I am now focusing more on flourishing in various different academic areas. I am also dedicated to service; I volunteer at my local church and mentor children who are coming of age both academically and socially. I have a genuine desire to extend my knowledge of math to everyone, and I am looking forward to meeting you!

I’m in 9th grade, and can tutor pre algebra and algebra 1. I enjoy math because there’s (usually) only one answer, and once you know how to solve one problem, you can apply the same reasoning to many others. Math is like its own language. I also enjoy reading, and playing soccer.

Hi, my name is Claire Lee! I am a 9th grader, and I have teaching experience up to Algebra 2 Honors. I have been a member of the UCLA Math Circle for 6 years, have taken the AMCs since 5th grade, and Math Kangaroo since 3rd grade. My favorite part about math is seeing my problem solving skills improving over time, and I'm excited to help others grow in the same way. Outside of math, I have been playing the violin since I was 3 years old, and I am currently concertmaster of the Harvard-Westlake Middle School Symphony. I am looking forward to helping students build their confidence in math!

Hi! My name is Rose Ananda and I am currently a 9th grader in Honors Geometry. I can tutor through Algebra 1, which is my favorite type of math. I have always loved math, but I specifically enjoy word problems and riddles, as well as any problem that ends with a whole number answer. Outside of math, I enjoy pottery and reading. I'm always happy to teach math, and hope through tutoring I can help as many people as possible!

Hi! I’m Téa, a sophomore at Harvard-Westlake. I’m in Honors Algebra 2 and Honors Chemistry, after completing Honors Geometry last year. I’ve always loved math, I enjoy problem solving and analytical thinking. At school, I’m part of the yearbook staff, play field hockey, and take photography. I also help teach elementary and middle school students about biology and anatomy through an organization called Down to Dissect.

Outside of school, I love to play tennis and crochet stuffed animals for my friends and family. My favorite subjects in school are Math and Science. I've always loved how the pieces fit together like a puzzle, especially in Algebra.
